{"id":2029,"date":"2015-03-16T11:02:22","date_gmt":"2015-03-16T11:02:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ndac.co.uk\/blog\/?p=2029"},"modified":"2017-06-26T09:22:53","modified_gmt":"2017-06-26T09:22:53","slug":"the-streetgames-wales-volunteer-fest-comes-to-ndac","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ndac.co.uk\/blog\/2015\/03\/the-streetgames-wales-volunteer-fest-comes-to-ndac\/","title":{"rendered":"The StreetGames Wales Volunteer Fest comes to NDAC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.streetgames.org\" target=\"_blank\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.streetgames.org\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>StreetGames Wales<\/strong><\/a><strong> are holding an exciting event at the \u200eNational Diving &amp; Activity Centre (NDAC) in April.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The StreetGames Wales Volunteer Fest!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Invited guests will be spending a day at the NDAC for a free  action packed day of activities at the NDAC to thank their existing volunteers and bring along new ones!<\/p>\n<p>StreetGames volunteers will have the opportunity to experience a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.segwayactive.co.uk\/\">segway driving adventure<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndac.co.uk\/water-walkers.htm\">water walking<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndac.co.uk\/thewire.htm\">The Wire<\/a> (one of the longest and fastest zip wires in the UK running the length of the spectacular quarry beneath the centre) as well as other activities. There will be a chance to relax after your busy day finishing with a BBQ at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndac.co.uk\/theview.htm\">View Cafe bar<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndac.co.uk\/cinema\/\">outdoor cinema experience<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.streetgames.org\/www\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Street Games<\/em><\/a><em> is a national sports charity that changes lives and communities. They do it by supporting a network of projects which give sports and volunteering opportunities to young people in disadvantaged communities across the UK.
