{"id":2570,"date":"2016-12-13T18:43:48","date_gmt":"2016-12-13T18:43:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ndac.co.uk\/blog\/?p=2570"},"modified":"2017-10-21T16:52:03","modified_gmt":"2017-10-21T16:52:03","slug":"open-water-swimming-temporarily-discontinued-at-national-diving-activity-centre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ndac.co.uk\/blog\/2016\/12\/open-water-swimming-temporarily-discontinued-at-national-diving-activity-centre\/","title":{"rendered":"Open Water Swimming temporarily discontinued at National Diving &#038; Activity Centre"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ndac.co.uk\/news\/images_news\/gen_images\/swimming_650.jpg\" width=\"650\" height=\"215\" alt=\"Swimming at NDAC Chepstow\"><\/p>\n<p>There has been some confusion and comments recently about the experience level required to swim at the National Diving &amp; Activity Centre, and our policy to only allow wetsuit diving during the Winter months.<\/p>\n<p>This has prompted us to begin a full review of Open Water Swimming at the site so that we can tailor it for the needs of our users whilst maintaining a safe environment.<\/p>\n<p>The safety of our swimmers is our priority and we are working with the Royal Life Saving Society to develop a new set of rules and regulations for open water swimming at the site.
