NDAC Dive Equipment ServicingCoronavirus Update for Scuba Diving Equipment ServicingThe National Diving & Activity Centre is currently closed for all equipment servicing. This is due to the restrictions on movement and the protection of customers and staff team during the Coronavirus outbreak. All booked-in scuba equipment servicing will be completed when the current restrictions are lifted. We will keep customers informed via our website and social media as further information is released. We would like to say a huge thank you for your continued custom and understanding during these difficult times for our country. We look forward to seeing you all again in the near future. If you have any servicing enquiries, please contact us via email on . We are working from home, but will advise the best we can. Keep safe and look after each other. Ashley & Nat Regular servicing of your scuba equipment is very important to ensure safe, reliable performance and to ensure your expensive kit has a long life. Diving regulators should be serviced at regular intervals depending on time and the amount of use they have. Cylinders have test dates and are subject to regulations, if your cylinder is out of date or in poor condition most air fill stations will refuse to fill it. Do you ever wonder why your servicing takes so long to get back from the dive shop – often because it is farmed out to another servicing centre to do the work and that’s why it takes ages for your kit to be returned... Well not any more! The National Diving & Activity Centre has expanded its operation to offer you a far better service, with its own '“in house' servicing and testing station. The NDAC Servicing Centre is staffed by our own SITA / IDEST approved technicians with all technicians holding manufacture servicing certificates for an extensive range of Scuba equipment. The National Diving & Activity Centre is also an Apeks and AquaLung Premier Service Centre. The in-house technicians at the NDAC Servicing Centre, Ashley Bryce & Nat Taylor, are second to none and will ensure that your equipment is properly prepared for your underwater adventures before it leaves our servicing centre. All Gauges used for cylinder testing at NDAC are calibrated by a UKAS accredited test house. Planning for a dive trip?We would strongly recommend that you have your dive equipment serviced well in advance of your dive trip or holiday, and that you use it prior to departing on your trip. Regulators in particular can require a final tweak in adjustment to achieve optimum performance – that’s great as we have our very own inland dive site to ensure you are totally 100% happy with your kit and that is has been serviced to your satisfaction and specifications. Service turn around times - no longer a problem!Unlike most other servicing centres, NDAC Servicing offers a number of services designed to suit you as the customer. Serviced equipment is normally available for return to the customer within 7 - 14 working days. However, this time may increase if parts are unavailable or if demand for servicing is unusually high during the peak seasons of the dive calendar. We are therefore offering you the diver, a fast track turn around service. At a small extra cost of £15.00 per item we will be happy to service your SCUABA equipment over night. No more missed dives because your neck seal ripped, or your BDC inflate failed. Services available at NADCRegulator ServicingWe are able to service your regulators on site here at the NDAC. Fast turnarounds apply as detailed above. Just bring your regs into the service bay and we will be able to tell you how quickly we can have them back to you. prices> Cylinder testing and servicingHydro tests, Visual inspection, Internal shot blast cleaning, O2cleaning service, Valves and manifolds serviced. prices> Buoyancy CompensatorsB.C.D's, Wings, ABLJ's, Genereal Buoyancy aids.
