With much of the country moving into Tier 4 restrictions, the increasing pressures on the NHS locally, and the Government’s advice to stay at home and avoid unnecessary travel, we have decided to close the National Diving & Activity Centre for all activities.
This closure will affect four weekends that we had hoped to open for scuba diving and wigwam accommodation in January.
Anyone with a booking will be contacted in the next few days and provided with a 12-month voucher to rearrange their visit.
The team at the National Diving & Activity Centre fully appreciate this closure is disappointing and apologise for any inconvenience. We’ve taken on board the feedback following other recent cancellations and accept the frustration some have with the situation.
We hope you can understand this is an ever-changing crisis that we often have to react to at short notice. We feel it is important that we all follow the current advice and that this decision to close the site is the most responsible thing to do to support the ongoing fight against Covid 19 and help protect the NHS.
We will review our opening dates as Government advice is released in the coming weeks and will keep everyone posted on social media and our website.
We thank you for your continued support and understanding. We look forward to seeing you soon.
