Severn Bridge tolls to end 17th December 2018
Wales Online has revealed that the historic date the Severn Bridge tolls will end is the 17th December 2018.
Secretary of State for Wales, Alun Cairns, has confirmed that the tolls on the two Severn bridges will be abolished just in time for Christmas.
Addressing the Conservative Party’s annual conference in Birmingham, Mr Cairns described the scrapping of the tolls as an "early Christmas present."
This will end 50 years of tolls since the first Severn Bridge opened and will save commuters who use the two Severn bridges daily up to £1,400 a year in tolls.
This will be fantastic news to regular visitors to the National Diving & Activity Centre from over the river.
