FREE Live Music from ‘People Like Us’ Saturday 8th September

Free live music at Chepstow’s National Diving and Activity Centre.
On Saturday 8th September we will be hosting People Like Us, an exciting semi-acoustic band from Wiltshire.
With many years of professional experience between them, you can be sure of a slick, impressive and most importantly, entertaining evening of live music.
People Like Us like to stand out from the crowd, so expect something a little different…
They will have you singing along, smiling, laughing and dancing your socks off!
Some of the artists that they cover are E.L.O, Muse, One Republic, Bruno Mars, Oasis, Mumford & Sons, Adele, Maroon 5.
This FREE gig will start around 730pm.

On Saturday 25th August we will be hosting ROCKSOLID
Rocksolid is a covers band, providing live music in the Bristol area. The usual suspects on their set-list include, The kinks, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Rolling Stones, T.Rex, Free, Status Quo, The Who, Bad Company, Spencer Davis Group, REM, Brian Adams, Bowie, Joe Cocker, and Rock n Roll Classics
Leading the pack on vocals is Neil Creaton. Bill Brown brings the bass. On guitar, it’s Pete Knights. On drums, Pete Moore and on guitar and keys they’ve got Richard Crabb.
This FREE gig will start around 730pm.

Recent groundworks at the National Diving & Activity Centre
Thursday, August 2nd, 2018It’s not the most spectacular views of the National Diving & Activity Centre, but we’re sure it’s one our regular visitors will appreciate.
Over the last few days we’ve been carrying out groundworks on the site & have filled in nearly all the pot holes in the car park.
All in time for our popular Summer Holiday period.

Noah’s Ark Children’s charity raises £10,000 on the Wire Zip Slide
Wednesday, July 11th, 2018Children’s hospital charity, Noah’s Ark, recently held a Zip Wire challenge at the National Diving & Activity Centre to help reach its aim of raising £1 million for their Tiny Lives Appeal.
The event took place on 1st July at Chepstow’s National Diving & Activity Centre, home to The Wire Zip Slide, one of the UK’s longest zip wires, launching from 70m high and reaching speeds of 40mph. With glorious sunshine and 92 participants the day was a huge success and is expected to raise more than £10, 000 for the Tiny Lives Appeal. (more…)
