NDAC TRF - Training & Research Facilities

Our Chepstow Site (The National Diving & Activity Centre (NDAC)) is closed.

NDAC Ltd are now operating from our venue in Wales at NDAC TRF(Training & Research Facilities).

The NDAC TRF is situated in Ammanford in the heart of South Wales, our facility boasts a breathtaking 124-meter-deep lake. This unique body of water, with a volume of 20 million cubic meters, spans an impressive 1.2 km in length and 0.5 km in width, offering a controlled, non-tidal environment for year-round diving, training and research activities.

We are not currently open for recreational diving, but welcome enquiries from training organisations.

Site improvement works at the NDAC

Site Improvements to NDAC

Site improvement works at NDAC ChepstowVisitors over the last couple of weeks may have seen the infrastructure works being carried out throughout the site.

16 tonnes of concrete recently arrived at the NDAC and we have been very busy working through some of the pot holes on the site.

Following feedback we are in the process of constructing a limited access area on the slipway. This is for divers unable to use the ladders on the pontoons; particularly those with twin sets, technical rigs or lots of equipment.

We have also added an extra 45m of floating pontoons and are looking to install an additional 205m floating pontoons over the next month.

There are further programmed works scheduled to take place at the site over the next few weeks.

We do appreciate all the feedback and ideas, so please keep the comments coming in and thanks for your continued support.
