NDAC TRF - Training & Research Facilities

Our Chepstow Site (The National Diving & Activity Centre (NDAC)) is closed.

NDAC Ltd are now operating from our venue in Wales at NDAC TRF(Training & Research Facilities).

The NDAC TRF is situated in Ammanford in the heart of South Wales, our facility boasts a breathtaking 124-meter-deep lake. This unique body of water, with a volume of 20 million cubic meters, spans an impressive 1.2 km in length and 0.5 km in width, offering a controlled, non-tidal environment for year-round diving, training and research activities.

We are not currently open for recreational diving, but welcome enquiries from training organisations.

The Wye Valley Greenway is now open for walkers and cyclists.

Here are a couple of photos taken recently during the works to open up the 143-year-old Tidenham Tunnel.

This is part of the Wye Valley Greenway project to create a shared use path for walkers and cyclists between Chepstow and Tintern.

The photos show an air shaft around 800 metres into the tunnel and you can make out the light at the end of the shaft from the surface.
